SLD + rasterizing plugin in a stable version?

Hello,

My team and I are currently developing a project based on geomajas 1.9.

We need to implement some end-user symbolizing configuration, ideally conformant to SLD.

I have read that there is some partial functionality in the rasterizing plugin - it would be very beneficial to us if we could use even the partial features and extend them into a fully working tool.

I have also found a project in svn trunk called: geomajas-project-sld, but couldn't find any information about it.

My questions are:

* what is the best way to utilize the current works on SLD?

* is integration of the plugin rasterizing plugin into 1.9.0 possible and how should it be ideally performed?

* what is the geomajas-project-sld, and what is the difference between its functionality and the rasterizing plugin?

* or should we use both to get the desired results?
